A lot of velcros involved. It was easy to assemble on the shoulder. Did offer some relief from subluxation due to a stroke. but it was not comfortable. After a few tries of keeping it on we finally gave up and purchased something else. Although my husband couldn't tolerate it, it did the job it was supposed to do and that was to relieve the pain from the pulling in the shoulder.
