I have only had this bag a few days, so I can't speak for how it will hold up, but so far I am really pleased. The stitching all looks good and construction seems sturdy, clean and nice. While I do agree that the magnets that keep it closed could be stronger, they are the reason I bought it. I didn't want to have to be messing with buckles all the time, and I really like the sleek look the magnetic closures allow it to have. The leather right now is stiff, but already it is softening up, and it smells nice. It's almost a linseed oil smell to me, which as a painter I like, but it is fading and I imagine will be gone soon. The color of the leather is just like the photos. It's not real thick and is lined with black canvas. The leather on the strap is darker, and it's a pleasant contrast. It's big, but not so much that a woman looks awkward carrying it. I have my Surface Pro in it, in it's own leather case, a leather notebook journal, a couple of other notebooks, and a lot of smaller things, and everything fits nicely. It's not huge inside, but I don't need to carry my entire library. I like the removable insert. I wanted the bag mainly for my Surface Pro, but I also wanted to use it to meet with clients. I can keep the bag loaded mainly for work, but I can load the insert with my stuff for my clients and then easily trade it out. The insert seems well made and sturdy, and is easy to use. If I didn't already have a nice case for my tablet, it would work well for that. It came nicely packaged, and they even included a sweet little leather business card holder that is really quite nice. I looked for a long time at this bag and one other and finally went with this one. It looks quite classy and I am glad I did.
